About Teeball

Tee-ball is one of the cheaper sports available to children in the area. It is a healthy, action-packed team game designed to appeal to children from 4 to 12 years of age. It is the perfect introduction to Baseball and Softball.

Season Costs

Club Teeball fees for 2024/2025 are $155 per player.  

Team shirts and most playing equipment are provided.  Players will only need to supply their own glove, club hat, long black socks and black pants (Tee-ball/Baseball pants are preferred & will be required for players who wish to compete at TBAWA carnivals or state competitions). These items can be purchased through our Club Merchandise Shop.

Players are allowed (but not mandatory) to provide their own approved bat and helmet. All players MUST wear closed-in shoes, to all games and training sessions.  Shoes with grip/studs MUST be moulded plastic.  No metal studs or spikes are allowed. 

Age Eligibility and Divisions

Playing divisions are determined by the child's birth date:

• Under 7  - Attending Kindy and Pre-Primary School (Birth Date: 01/07/2018-30/06/2020)                
• Under 9 - Attending Year 1 and Year 2 School (Birth Date: 01/07/2016-30/06/2018)                       
• Under 11- Attending Year 3 and Year 4 School (Birth Date: 01/07/2014-30/06/2016)                          
• Under 13 - Attending Year 5 and Year 6 School (Birth Date: 01/07/2012-30/06/2014)    

Season Details 

Our season runs throughout the summer months, for all of Term 4 2024 and during February 2025.  No games are played over the summer school holidays. 

Fixtured games are played each Saturday morning at Briggs Park Lower Oval, in Byford.  Game times are determined closer to the start of the season once team numbers are determined.  Games are played for 60 min each, and 45 minutes for under 7's.

During the season the committee arranges alternative fixture times for special events and twilight rounds.  During the 2024/2025 season, we plan to hold a few twilight rounds when we change the game times to play at night under lights. This season's dates are TBA. 

Club Team Training occurs for at least 1 hour during the week.  Training days and times are at the discretion of the coach.

Discount off fees if player registers for both Teeball and Machine Pitch/Little league.

 

State Championships
